Common questions
Is Avaro Core accounting software?
No. It handles billing and financial control: what's been delivered, what's been invoiced and what's owed. Your accounts stay in your accounting system, and invoices can go to Xero automatically.
Does it work with QuickBooks or Sage?
Not today. Xero is the only accounting connection. Tell us which system you use; it helps us decide what to build next.
Can clients pay by card from an invoice?
Not yet. Invoices show your payment details, and payment is recorded against the invoice.
Can we bill retainers?
Yes, with recurring invoices. On Growth and Business, support time can also draw down a retainer set in the contract.
